We’re excited to share the latest news from our Community Development Coordinator Maggie Sands and Director of Education Siena Fleming, who just spent a fruitful week in Ethiopia at the new Take-Root Center.

On Friday, they chose 15 new Seeds between the ages of 4 and 6 from a total of 70 children who turned up for the selection process — 30 more than were anticipated. It’s a real milestone for Seeds of Africa.

Seeds have already been hard at work, and made paintings and drawings during Siena and Maggie’s stay. And a student art exhibition is opening today — you can see above how exciting an event it is for everyone involved.
